New report on Organized Islamophobia
There is a group of entwined foundations, pundits, bloggers, politicians & the religious right that have waged a ten year campaign to promote hate and fear of Islam and Muslims.
Right wing groups generously funded by foundations along with talking heads, media, politicians are an echo chamber for promoting fear & loathing have been identified by the Center for American Progress (CAP).

Ruby22shoes, it is too bad that you do not post a contact me link in your blogs. It would be nice to ask you where you get all the stuff you claim to be true. DU was only used in combat in three locations, Kuwait and Southern Iraq during the Gulf War; the Balkans, extensively documented by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) Post Conflict Branch, and Iraq in 2003. It was not used in Somalia (an Italian paratrooper won a substantial court judgment but the claim was false and the court did a poor job of ascertaining the facts) and it was not used in Libya or anywhere else. The Gulf War and Iraq in 2003 were the only places where tanks faced tanks. They probably were the last large tank battles that ever will occur on the planet and DU probably will never be used again unless the North Korean army takes its thousands of tanks across the 38th Parallel. DU penetrators were developed in the 70's to stop the Soviet Bloc's thousands of tanks poised on the German border to dash to the North Sea. The American army had no anti-tank projectile capable of penetrating then modern Soviet armor plate and it conducted extensive tests and found that an alloy of DU (Uranium-238) and Titanium did the job. The first time that they ever faced an enemy with hundreds of tanks was the Gulf War. Saddam's army was battled hardened from its long war with Iran and it had conquered Kuwait and was poised just north of the Saudi oil fields. DU was used to destroy tanks in the Gulf War. As a result, American tank crew members are still alive and Iraqi tank crews died. No one became sick, but there was no one in Iraq to verify the false claims because Saddam still ruled with an increasingly more iron hand until 12 years later. In the meantime, lies about DU were spread around the world and they continue to be spread.
